fred00
Fred Alvarracin fred00 — I don't know a single person who won't give you either one of two reviews. The first being that yes, it is a classic and a must read. Long and in some parts too descriptive but wonderful writing. It is a shame that it took decades for Tolkien to be recognized for his astounding work at a great fantasy novel. He was the first to paint a picture for the fantasy genre. This is my opinion of this wonderful triliogy. The second opinion you will hear, is that a person opened the book and was barely able to read the first page because of boredom. I will not deny that in some cases yes, these books can become quite a tedious task to read but still readable, I think. It is up to you to decide what you think.

Yunisa Fitri yunisa_nis9798 — Tuesdays with Morrie was a good book. It started out with the kid Mitch in college. For one of the classes he was staking he went ot the house of his profesor and prity much talked about life and meantings of different things. After it told a little about is college years it went to more present day life. Then one day while watching tv he heard his old professors name on the news and then remembered the promiss he made to him when he graduated and that was to come back and see him. After hearing his old profesors name on tv he wantd to get in touch with him and so he did. Every week he would fly to see him. After a while it became like a tradition to go and see him every tuesday. I want to say more about the book but then i would ruen it and tell you evetyhing that is in it. Tuesdays with Morrie is writen in a unique way. The person who wrote it is actualy Mitch in the book. It is written week by week. Every chapter is a different Tuesday. Inbetween chapter is what i would call a flashback. It goes back to days he was in college and talking to his profesor. In every chapter or "Tuesday" Mitch makes it seem like you are sitting in the room with them and listening to them talk. He makes very vivid descriptions that makes you picture the room they are in and makes you feel in the present with them. I would defiantly recommend you to read this book. It is a wonderful story that I think everyone should read on d a matter of fact you have to read it in tenth grade English. I personally got some things out of the book like that you should spend the time you have with your family and friends and don't waste time with bad things spend it with people you love. The only thing that might turn you away from this book is if you don't like reading sad books. Tuesdays with is a very sad book but then again there are parts that are happy. And i would admit that tho i did not cry to the book but part of the book made Morrie e me think of our cat that we had to put to sleep this year and y eyes stared to water and i got a little sniffly and if i weren't sitting in class at the time i probably would have started to cry. Altho this book is a little sad i would defiantly recommend it to anyone and everyone it is a WONDERFUL book.

goodday
Good Day goodday — Adorable, adorable, adorable! I think Arabella is my favorite heroine of all the Georgette Heyer books I've read thus far. She is spunky and impetuous, and the way she comports herself throughout the book is refreshing! The story, too, between her and Robert Beaumaris (Again, I giggled at the name. Beaumaris? I think I preferred Ravenscar...) was unique and charming, and kept me engaged until the very end. It definitely threw me for a loop once or twice (the hero proposing marriage a little more than halfway through the book? What?), but the dialogue sparkled and Arabella as a character definitely kept me coming back for more. To be fair, I wasn't the hugest fan of the Bertram plotline, and there were moments where I felt Beaumaris was being particularly unfeeling towards the whole thing (which made it a tiny bit difficult for me to accept that he'd come around at the end), but nonetheless this is a charming and sweet story, and definitely one of my favorites.
