Orcun Ugur raptek15c6d3 — i really enjoyed this novel. i feel like mclain did a great job giving voice to hadley hemingway. i recently read Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald - where ernest and hadley make an appearance - so it was cool having another writer's creative perspective on the couple. one particular setting/time is covered in detail in each novel, so that was interesting. especially since ernest featured more in 'Z' and, obviously, hadley's perspective was stronger in 'the paris wife'. great escapist read. good summer reading recommendation. though, i now want to read a biography of hadley so will have to investigate this.

Nbb Connie 379617326c418 — This was a bloodthirsty, battle driven novel...of course it is about Geghis Kahn. This is a good start to his epic life. The characters were well researched and the scene is correctly set. The verbage is choppy at points and then long winded in others. I think people who have a general interst in war stories and sweeping historical novels will enjoy this. I won this in a goodreads sweepstakes and was thankful for my name being selected, however, it was not a book that I truely enjoyed.

Saeed Dragmi idistinct — This is a continuous book from Naruto volume 8, in this volume, Naruto runs into a trio of illusionists that plays mind tricks on him and his comrads, he does not notice this untill his team mate, Sakura notices that their enemies keep on coming no matter how hard they try to fight off the clones. After a while, she dispells the illsuion and left the rest to Naruto and Sasuke to beat the wimpy trio and luckily they had the scsroll Naruto needed. Now that they had both scrolls they went to the tower to report the two scrolls to complete the first part of the test. When they opened the scrolls their instructer was summoned and told them what to do, the second part of the test was a death match. The first was Hinata and Neji, cousins of the Hyuga clan. While reading this book, I noticed a text to text connection. I related this to The Outsiders because of rivalry. In The Outsiders, The Greasers has frequent fights with the Socs, but they were not related unlike in this case where there is a rivalry between families. I would rate this volume 5 stars because I like how they explained the rivalry between the two of the same clan and how intense the test is to the ninjas to be risking their lives just for honor.

Her new friend, Violet Redmond, invited her to the country for a house party. Miles Redmond is left in charge of the party. Both are attracted to each other but can't be together, their lives have been planed out. Miles needs to marry money to fund his tropical expeditions, because his father refuses to spend any more money on him. Cynthia needs to marry money to survive. I liked that there was no big misunderstanding, Cynthia and Miles were honest with each other and both admitted to their attraction and the need to stay away from each other. Some of the scenes from the house party had me rolling my eyes, like the over the top gypsies and the dog obcessed suitor.
