Pierre Gonzalez _ierre_onzalez — I received this book for free from goodreads first reads. I loved this book.It was set in 1960. The narrator is a young girl (Sally) and her innocence shows through in her story telling and made me smile. Her little sister Troo is a handful and I admit had me actually laugh out loud. This book has well developed characters. The main characters are all likeable. This is a sequel, but it can stand alone as well. My only gripe about this book is that I didn't read the first one but I intend to fix that!

Tim Girvan _irvs — Very funny and very blunt, however, it had moments of pointlessness. There were a few instances where to tie the threads in, the story gets a little cliched and made me roll my eyes. For a first effort at a novel from Dawn French though, I thought it was good. Good, not great. A lot of the book relied on shocking language which despite being very amusing seemed designed to appall as much of her projected readership as possible.

702 Marketing 702_arketing — Simply put I LOVE THIS SERIES! I am beyond loving it. I’m IN love with it. I devoured this series so fast that I almost wish I would have taken more time and really let in seep in more, but I am so impatient that would never have worked out! We’ll Always Have Summer, in my opinion, was a fabulous ending. Not what I was expecting but better, more complicated and amazing! We’ll Always Have Summer takes place a couple of years in the future. Belly is now at in college, the same one as Jeremiah, her boyfriend, Jeremiah, and her best friend, Taylor. Things start to get complicated pretty quickly and Belly finds herself out of her mother’s house and living at Cousins with Conrad while Jeremiah interns at his father’s company. I was, obviously, super freaking excited about reading the final book in this incredibly amazing Summer series! It didn’t let me down one bit. I was so happy to be back at Cousins. Since the first book I have been in love with Cousins and that beach house and I enjoyed that we re-entered it once again! Maybe not the way I had always pictured but still amazing all the same! Belly has grown up a lot in the last two years and we see those slight changes in her, but in the end she is the same ole Belly, she still has a girlish quality to her, which I really love! Jeremiah is still the sweet, considerate Jeremiah we love. Though at one point in the book he pisses me off but then I end up loving him once again! He’s really hard not to love! Conrad my Conrad, I love him. No matter what he does or says I love him. Of course he is as closed off and confusing as ever but then we get a few chapters here and there from his POV! I was behind happy that I finally got to see inside his head and know what he was feeling, and all this just made me love him SO MUCH MORE! The ending was not quite what I expected but in a good way. I’m really happy where everything ended up. I pictured it differently though, more dramatic and final, but the characters were mature and realistic about the entire situation! Jenny Han did a fantastic job, and even though I am sad to leave Belly’s life I also have a sense of closure! Maybe we’ll see Belly, Jeremiah and Conrad again?! Either way I’ll definitely be re-reading this series as well as any upcoming book from Jenny Han! Wonderful ending! Summer series fans won’t be disappointed!
