Yang Liang alanown — ** spoiler alert ** I should start off this review saying the book has adult topics of sex, rape,attempted rape, abuse, and murder. None were done in too graphic of detail but they were there. With that being said the whole idea of the book was very intriguing. The whole world created by the author of punishment being fixed for every crime no matter the reason (except we find in certain instances) was interesting. In some ways it reminded me of the spirit of the law and the letter of the law. I also thought the whole idea of her being give the choice between escaping the noose or become the food taster for the commander was interesting. I liked the relationship between Yelena and Valek. I really did enjoy this book and had a hard time putting it down. Thanks again Ashley. ;)
