Ayşenur Maden aysenur_ — This is kind of in the same vein as that crap I read sometimes like The Penetrator, or Nick Carter. The stories are really cookie cutter. The skinhead does some bad things, maybe beats up hippies or something, he does something else bad, and then he gets caught and he goes to jail. The next story he gets out, finds that being a skinhead now means being a suedehead (....oh i was a good lay, good lay), which is like a skinhead with hair, does some bad stuff, gets arrested. Guess what happens in the third book? He gets out of jail, does some more bad stuff and goes back to jail. Kind of repetitive, but still fun.

Margarita Lapitskaya ratatosk_m — This book didn't completely win me over until the very end. I enjoyed it, but I was wary of where it was taking me. Then, as I reached the final chapters, I found that I was engaged in what was going on in the story, that I actually cared about these characters. And I think it's the characters that make this book what it is. While one of them is very crass, he is likable enough because of what he has to offer the narrator, that I ended up feeling a little fond of him. This book made me laugh out lound, and it made me feel devastated. It explores so well the abiguities of war and what it means to grow up. One character talks explicitly and often about sex and the language is pretty bad.

Helge Kirkaune _achelgee817 — I thought this was a good book overall, but it was very hard to keep up with. It kept me interested with what was going to happen next. I found it was very hard to follow though,i would often lose track of the characters; who's who etc. Eye of the raven could be explained in better detail with the characters. I loved at the end how eliot patterson wrote the journey that duncan and johantty were to take together. I reccomend this book for anyone who loves a good mystery and can keep up with them. eye of the Raven is a good book, but for kids who are in 11 grade and above. I personally love history so this is a great book if you like that too.
