Oven Design ovendesign — I agree with the Village Voice: "Humorous and bawdy... An amusing portrayal of independent women taking life in stride." It's a quick read - I finished it in one evening.

Valery Stavrev 3_tudio_tavrev — Tells about how Peter Pan came to be. If you like that kind of thing , you'll love this book. I happen to be a huge nerd who's into this kind of thing so I thought it was an amazing book that I couldn't put down

Vinicius Libardoni libardoni — After the 'meh' of the first volume this one seemed to slip nicely into gear and did actually feel like vintage Spider-Man. The second story set in a blizzard reminded me of those PP:SM one shots with interesting random baddies, great interactions and wonderful imagery. The scenes with Spidey and the bum in the snow was great. If it keeps this way I think they made the right choice re-booting (though I still believe they did it in the worst possible way).

Izabela Tolko itolko25db — Very odd picture book. Originally published in Norway and winner of the 2007 BolognaRagazzi Award ("one of the most prestigious international prizes for excellence...awarded each year in conjunction with the Bologna Children's Book Fair". ---from the front inside cover) I liked the collage illustrations which are detailed and colorful, sometimes whimsical and other times rather frightening. The story is about a six year old boy scared about starting school. His three old aunties come to visit and they all have tea in the garden. Garmann discovers that everyone is scared of something...but does not seem comforted by this knowledge. It's hard to find much kid-appeal in the book, fascinating and odd as it is.
