Hakon Agustsson _mage_ee — Really, really great book. Lynn Austin effortlessly weaves the stories of 3 different women and the vastly different times that they lived. Abby lives in present day (1999) America, but is spending the summer at an archeological dig. Her life at home is in tatters and she hopes to gain some perspective. Tragedy strikes before she even leaves the airport after touchdown, leaving Abby under suspicion of terrorism and reeling from the change in events. She gets to know Hannah, the lead archeologist and over the summer learns more of her tragic, but triumphant story as the summer progresses. They excavate artifacts from a first century Jewish girl, Leah, and piece together the events of her life in the years following the death of the Savior. So, so good. I highly recommend this historical fiction novel, I couldn't put it down and was not only entertained, but uplifted and educated as well.

Daijanna Mcadam daijanna219e12 — entertaining. Full of excess.. Good for a distraction ;) funny that's what most of hte book deals with.

Ziaul Hasan obsessedzi4f15 — great rhyming verse and a nice introduction to months and seasons.

Dylan Kucish skylinecrossfit — Odd, being half illustrations, half text, but interesting like a normal book while reading. The storyline is a little weak, and the book seems almost without a point. It seems a little to based off of movies for a book. I would say it wasn't worth it's time, except it took me 2 hours to read. With breaks. It was a little boring, really, and the illustrations were not, in my opinion, well done, so they didn't really add to it. It, in all, was a wanna-be-a-story short story. Although, for some reason, I sort of enjoyed it. (thats why I gave it 3 stars)But maybe that's because I used to read graphic novels.
