Firos O firose — Once you get past Foucault's rampant paranoia (which gains momentum as the book progresses) he makes some excellent points and provides a fascinating historical analysis on the development of a social construct.

Dhimas Zoso _himazoso — I love Carl Hiaasen, and I think this is his best book for younger ages yet. It retains more of his edgy feel. I can't wait to get a copy of this into my library. ARC from Net Galley

Hayley Dangelo hayleyeaden — I first read this book in high school, and then again in a women's lit class in college. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn't get it. Having been through a divorce, and an "awakening" of sorts (even featuring a handsome rake!), Chopin reads a lot differently. I'd argue that it should be recommended reading for any adult women who A. read fiction, and B. have found their path, but it's likely to be overly illustrative if wants, needs, and paths are still murky. Illustrative in that way that makes one say "I totally hate my life, and this relationship is a sham." Arguably, Chopin's protagonist doesn't exactly make a proactive choice, but two very different kinds of good lovin' from two very different men turns the light on...even if it's sort of dim...kind of like a New Orleans morning.
