Joseph Delaney doesn't disappoint...it's just scary fun.

Such a beautiful book, and contains one of my favorite lines in literature: "He allowed himself to be swayed by his conviction that human beings are not born once and for all on the day their mothers give birth to them, but that life obliges them over and over again to give birth to themselves."

I've read all of the Emperor series and I have given each of those books a 5 star rating as I have done for the first three books in this series however, this book I have only given a 3 star rating. I never really got in to the book, unlike all the others which I couldn't put down, I found this book harder to follow. This will not stop me buying the next one in the series, I'm still a very big fan!

This book had a cracking pace, compared to the first installment in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns, and was fully satisfied when I finished the last page. Larsson was crafty in providing enough closure to feel satisfied, but enough questions to want to jump straight into the next novel. I can't wait to get up to date with the movies made out of these novels.

I really enjoyed this graphic biography of Anne Frank and her family. The book covers more than just Anne Frank herself...it covers her family and friends as well. It also provides the context to Anne's life (Nazi rise to power, WW2 battles that the family followed, etc.) It's a great refresher of the history of the events surrounding Anne's life. I really liked the graphic novel style of the biography. I believe this format is an excellent choice for history subjects like this. It could introduce these subjects to a wider audience.

not as i expected about time travel and the supernatural thing. for a 10th century viking, rolf is amazing in adapting in 20th century. walopun lebih banyak adaptasinya si viking di abad 20 (bukan abad 21 lho!) daripada kehidupan vikingnya, tapi lumayan bikin nyengir. hmm... penasaran kalo diterjemahin permainan katanya gimana, ya? calf in shore bow = kevin sorbo (inget zaman nonton hercules sama xena the warrior princess) dock-whore = doctor sand-witches = sandwich

Pretty good starter fantasy. Nothing especially innovative though.

I laughed out loud many times reading this book. And usually on the metro bus startling some old ecuas. Way better than the movie!

Oh yes. This is another sweet little book and you know that I love those. There are several reasons why I like this book, but let me tell you few: 1. Descriptions. I really like descriptions in this book, especially descriptions of graffiti, I could picture them in my head. 2. Poems. They're put just in right places and they're connected with story, not just some random poems. 3. POV. This story is told from Lucy's and Ed's point of view. I rarely find books that are told from girl's and boy's point of view and when I do mostly I like one more. Here I like both, equally. I could enjoy the story and get feelings from both of them. 4. Fun. This book is really funny. I laughed few times, it's silly but really funny. For example I guess love's kind of like a marshmallow in a microwave on high. After it explodes it's still a marshmallow. but, you know, now it's a complicated marshmallow. 5. The ending. I really didn't know what will happen at the end. I saw two things possibly can happen, but which one I really couldn't guess. I like this one. 6. Quotes. I read some really beautiful quotes here. I'll share some You were right. Real is better. The truth is better. It makes you feel kind of stupid, but it's better. For a while, for as long as you're looking at it, that painting is the world and you get to be in it. I like that about art, that what you see is sometimes more about who you are than what’s on the wall. I look at this painting and think about how everyone has some secret inside, something sleeping like that yellow bird. It's harder to make someone laugh than it is to make them cry. All in all, another sweet little book that you'll enjoy reading.

Overall, it was a well done conclusion to The Lost Series. I actually cheered for Desanji and Geary at the end. There's definitely more that can be explored in this universe, and I hope the author does so. Again, the descriptions of the space battles were a bit long-winded for me.
