Really great behind-the-scenes book. I loved the comments from the actors and crew about things that happened during filming, views on characters, etc. Also, the inserts are great. Things like Harry's Hogwarts letter, and wizard candy packaging are stuck into the book at various points. Out of those, I particularly love the Yule Ball invitation - it's so pretty and fancy I'm almost afraid to touch it!

WOW! I absolutely LOVED this book! I loved the romance, the action, the quips and dialogue back and forth between the brothers (and with Butch, hilarious), and I loved watching Wrath's and Beth's relationship develop. I kept picturing Brandon Lee on steriods as my Wrath and Megan Fox as my Beth (I need to figure out how to add pictures into posts here). This being my first paranormal romance, I know I'm being spoiled, but I'm so glad I've started with this series. I've already added the rest of the series to my TBR shelf as well as a lot of others in the genre. It was interesting and a great change of pace to read about an alternate society with it's own rules and customs. I'm anxious to read the rest of the brothers' stories as well as learn more about their world. Since I'm from Boston, I can't help but have a special place in my heart already for Vichous with his Red Sox cap and Butch from Southie :-) Zsadist's story has GOT to be fascinating. There's definitely something underneath all that bravato, rage, and pain. Next up, Rhage's story, whom I'm already in love with :-)

Whatever I see/read first, I like better. So in this case, I saw the film first, and after reading the book, I decided I liked the film more. At least John Irving wrote the screenplay, so I don't have to feel shallow about it!

Travel to the "high places" with Much Afraid as she follows her Shepherd into the hills. She encounters much difficulty, sorrow, and pain from her relatives, Craven Fear, Coward, and Lord Fearing and others as they try to dissuade her from going into the unknown territory. A beautiful and poetic allegory of the journey with Christ. I've read this book 5 times and never tire of the beauty, wildness, and refreshing story.

This was another book I just didn't get. An autobiography of a very self-absorbed individual. Perhaps my childhood had an equivalent lack of rules, or perhaps the author came off as picking and choosing a little too much from the colorful stories, but I ended up not giving a crap. Fiction and some kind of point would have helped.

This cookbook is nice because I have zero creativity when it comes to cooking. The meals are a little expensive but the serving sizes are large and the food lasts for days. I don't know though, that it has inspired me to buy any other Rachel Ray cookbooks.
