I was hesitant to give this book 5 stars, because I don't think it's as good as Franny and Zooey, or Catcher in the Rye for that matter; however on its own, its a fantastic read. Its provocative and thoughtful, and if you've already read Franny and Zooey, it wonderfully expands the world of the Glass family for the reader. I had lingering contemplations following the end of each short story, and I think that's the mark of a good writer.

gw suka banget buku terakhir dari series lightning girl ini...full sama cerita jess pas dia dewasa...jadi permasalahan yang di bahas juga lebih dewasa ..... kali ini jess membantu rob menemukan adiknya yang kabur dari rumah dan terjerat kasus dvd porn... lalu gimana jessica memperbaiki kesalahpahamannya denganrob beberapa tahun sebelumnya..... endingnya sangaaaaat keren...jess dan rob tunangan....horeeeee.......

Like most Wilkie Collins' books, it didn't get good until page 300. I'm sort of glad I stuck it out, but more out of interest in early mystery novels as a genre as opposed to being glad because it was a great book.

This was a quick read. It's an enjoyable cozy mystery. The killer was a bit obvious, I had zeroed in on the proable character early in the story. I enjoyed the characters in the story and as this is the first in a series, I'll probably try another by this author.
