I'm actually not even really sure what to think of this book :/ It was well written and the basic idea behind it was good but it seemed like nothing really happened in it. I kept thinking that something exciting was going to happen but it never did and yet I still kind of liked it and I still felt a bit of stockholme syndrome for Ty myself! Overall I liked the basic idea for this story and the characters are well developed but I don't think the author made it as compelling as it could have been and now I'm left confused as to how many stars to give this book because while I did like this book I was disappointed by it so I think I'm just going to leave my rating blank! :/

I enjoyed reading this, but I think if I had read this book as a child I would have enjoyed it more. Much of it, especially the first half, reminded me of Tom Sawyer, which I loved as a kid. As an adult, I wish this book was more subtle and less predictable ... I can see why it's compulsive reading for US students, it has all the big issues in it. The characters were a bit flat, except maybe Boo Radley, who I would have preferred to learn more about.

A very slim portion of the stories are merely much better than your average read, the great majority is simply astonishing. Can be read over and over, and hey, you'll probably learn something along the way!

"hell is other people." one of the most disturbing and most ingenious plays ever written... "you are - your life, and nothing else." no answers to be found but many questions to ponder. actually, to make you squirm. "well, well, let's get on with it..."

Christopher Pike does an excellent job with the horror content in this book. If you have a sensitive stomach, this is not for you.

#2 in the Bess Crawford series Charles Todd is beginning to flesh out his main character, Bess Crawford, in a satisfactory manner. I enjoy her as well as the setting (WWI London) and was intrigued by the intricate family elements in this mystery. I look forward to more books in this series.

If you have never heard of "The Frog Prince" I am very surprised."The Princess Frog" is a movie that i bet most of you saw. but this story was written after the book and before the movie. the princess Emma has a queen for a mom and a nice witch for an aunt. princess Emmas mother invited prince Jorge to visit and mad an arranged mariage for Princess Emma and Prince Jorge. princess Emma did not like Prince Jorge so she ran off to the swamp. there she met and obnoxious frog named Eadric and he persuaded her to kiss him. she (then) turns into a frog hoping to find a witch to uncast the spell they hop through the swamp. this is a most funny, scary, and enjoyable story. full of fun bug eating adventure with capture, near death experiences and friends. i really enjoyed it. the author E.D. Baker is very skilled. i recommend this book to girls. i certainly loved it.
