Great book. I really like it, but I wish it had GPS coordinates. Maybe a newer edition of the book may have them (this one is about 10-years old).

Good stuff for those who grew up on the Percy Jackson series. It definitely has an older teen feel. It's no Percy Jackson, though I suppose it doesn't need to be.

Ron Paul is the embodiment of a modern day revolutionary. An insightful and brutally honest manifest. "Live free or die" indeed!

This was a good book to read for anyone interested in life inside the FLDS, as well as the struggle to liberate women and children from the abuse inside the community. From the abuse undergone by children, to state authorities that continually fail to protect them, choosing instead to return them to their homes regardless of the abuse they report, this book recounts one woman's experience with it all. Definitely worth reading.

A fascinating look at how the Oxford English Dictionary came to be. I really recommend this as an audio book. The reader's voice lends so much to the telling of this story.

There was nothing wrong with this book, I just didn't find myself particularly involved in it. I'm glad I read to the end, though - the last third was the best part.

One of those books where you can get everything it has to offer by reading the back jacket. It has a great premise but reading it made me claustrophobic, fidgity. I was impatient for the story to develop beyond what was set up in the first chapter or two but it didn't. And then he dies.

Definitely not my favorite Kurt Vonnegut book. It was interesting for getting some of the story of his life, but it wasn't quite as absurd as I prefer.

This seems to be the sensible and plausible of Goodman's bizarre archaeology books. I commend his strive to not simply accept what is the norm or the "expected" in studying archaeology; let the facts speak for themselves and not force them into our pre-existing world view. However, I can't say that I'm convinced that he's correct. I'd like to see if someone has compared his findings with more recent dates and discoveries since this book was published.
