I'm glad I read the White Queen first. Her mother's maternal instincts were weak and hers also but how much was because of nurture rather than nature.

This book, written in the 20's, was ahead of it's time. I was very impressed!

My first delving into this author. I think I didn't read it at the right time. I was going through a break up and I think I would have done well to have read something more cheery. I thought the ending was sort of contrived.

I'm a fan of behind-the-scenes kind of fiction, and the thought of behind-the-scenes of Jesus tickled me. I bought the book, devoured it, and loved it. Lamb is probably not for everyone, especially those who might be considered uptight. I found it sweet and humorous, with a bit of melancholy, and couldn't put it down. I like the idea of filling in the blanks of the Bible and Moore made Jesus relatable.

It did make quite a while to get into this book but once I did, I hated putting the book down. Since it was a tad bit slowing moving in the begining is why I only gave it four stars.

A quick and frightening read. The movie was pretty good too.

Solid characterization and a good concept. Gould does love his technical fixes - where clever characters figure out plausible solutions with given materials to solve increasingly dire looking situations. But I have a hard time getting excited by these, and tend to gloss over them without really picturing what's happening.

This book was very good, once I figured out the premise of it. It through me for a loop & kept me engaged.

Possibly the most philosophically thought-provoking children's book I've read. Ontological questions and ruminations on infinity make this modern descendent of The Wind in the Willows an engaging read for adults. Whether or not the story holds up for children--and for what age--I don't know.

I received this book as a gift from a coworker. It was so hilarious I just couldn't put it down. This is a must read for all fans of humorous book authors such as Christopher Moore and Carl Hiaasen. Not to be taken seriously.
