This was sorry is a great book to read. It is so realistic. and so true and people can relate to all of her or some of her. Its about a girl who is in college and the holiday was coming and she didn't have a family to go to, her mom is white and is ashamed of having a oreo cookie daughter and that she was with a black ma. So basically she has no money no family so she starts ho'n around. Enough said you'll need to read it.

actually, i didn't enjoy this book very much. i didn't like the writing style, and there was nothing redeeming about the supposed protagonist so i couldn't really get into it. i finished reading it simply for the sake of finishing.

I personally enjoy animes so when someone gave me this as a gift, I was really happy! It's a good start in knowing who Jesus is(for kids who don't read books without pictures). Many of the people who saw me reading it said it was not proper for a Bible story to be in manga form. They said it was like making fun of Jesus. Well, I say, it's a work of art! Hidenori is good at making mangas so God used him and his abilities to spread the Word in a differently and no one should despise their fellow Christian for spreading the Word in an unusual way. It's like a good refreshment to the ancient story.

Brilliant!! Literally and in the context of the book. Cynthia Hand was genius! Her description of angelic mythology and her uncanny ability to write from the perspective of the lead character Clara was fantastic. I found myself totally absorbed in the story from start to finish. The characters were well developed and all of the characters were realistic and unique. I have never read anything quite like this. This book far surpasses the Fallen series, in my opinion, and if you are reading this review you owe it to yourself to give this one a shot. I can guarantee you this book will pleasantly surprise you in ways you never thought possible. Amazing debut!!
