I adore Maya Angelou's novels and poetry but didn't find anything special that would make me wish to own this cookbook.

Quite an easygoing and fun introduction to Economics. Which is a feat in itself that is worthy of praise.

This is THE definitive edition of Moby Dick! Definitely the one to dive into for first-time Melvillians.

The impact that so little words can have is powerful, and therefore it is by no means that a story written in verse should be underestimated. Crank deals with the real life issue of drugs, specifically meth(crank). The book is based on a mother's first-hand experience with her daughter's use of crank. Kristina is a well-behaved, average girl, whose life plummets on a steep downhill journey after she gets her first taste of meth. The description of her addiction is artistic, yet brutal, and develops a completely new character in Kristina which is recognized as "Bree". Crank serves as a wonderful portrayal of the darker side of this high school fantasy, and a good read.

I hate how there is nothing to prevent the how Blanche's end comes, her lies build up and at the end even if she is honest there is no one that will believe her. Oh and I hate Stanley & Stela who is completely blinded

A great conclusion to a great series!
This is by far the besy Ambrose book that I have read. In fact I liked it so much that I have read it twice in the past few years. Perhaps I like it because it represents my favorite period in American history.

"Watership Down" may not start off with a bang but I could not put this book down towards the end. The 450+ pages went quicker than I initially thought. "'Silflay hraka, u embleer rah,' replied Bigwig." Nope, this was certainly not a tale of cutesy-wootsy rabbits. The story follows a ragtag group of rabbits as they travel in search of a place to establish a new and safer home. "Watership Down" carried me across the countryside. It was a journey that I relished.
