My Thoughts: I had seen this one popping up on goodreads multiple times as people marked it as To-Read. I wasn't sure about it but saw it browsing Barnes and Noble one night so figured what the heck, I'll buy it for my nook. We are introduced to Avery, who is very motivated. She gets straight A's, wants to go on a trip to Costa Rica. Problem, she needs more money. She has some saved but not nearly enough. So when her ex best friend Hannah from years ago, offers her 500 dollars to steal Hannah's boyfriend, she jumps right on it. That's 500 more dollars toward her trip fund. She would be foolish to say no. Its not like her job selling hot dogs and dressing up as one is paying the bills well enough. She starts to hang out with Zac (Hannah's boyfriend) because she gets paired with him on a project. Simple enough to steal him, right? I mean she already has to be around him. Things don't go as planned as Avery starts to actually think he's a nice guy and why would Hannah even want rid of him? Of course, things aren't always what they seem and its not like Zac and Avery are a match made in heaven either. There is a lot of drama in this book between lots of different people. There are also laughs, jokes, cute moments, etc. That is basically the story, I'm not going to say anything else. My Boyfriend Thief was really creative, and it was a sweet contemporary young adult novel. If your looking for something light and cute than read this now! Yes, there are a few lessons to be learned here, but mostly it is for fun and enjoyment. Moments to make you go awwwww. Overall: Really liked it a lot. Don’t read too many e-books so this was a nice change. Cover: I love the legs and shoes! Love how she is barely stepping on his toes. Very romantic! What I'd Give It: 4/5 Cupcakes ___________ Review Based On Nook Edition Taken From Princess Bookie www.princessbookie.com

It is good and fun, but he repeats too many times the same "joke".

I actually listened to Hyperion. I'm sure it was meant to follow the form of The Canturbury Tales. Alas, no real ending. I guess I'm going to have to read the sequel to it. I'm curious, but not blown away.

Gabe is quite cleverly hiding his deficiencies in thinking through excessive emotions. In almost every situations he bursts into tears - perhaps just to avoid expressing his opinion. He jumps from Never-Even-Consider-It to Yeyy-I-Will-Be-Mother frame of mind in the matter of seconds. He is definitely overemotional... even before getting pregnant. I will keep silence on his mate - poor excuse for a demon. And it's only a few complaints I have. I was not expecting a great book - just something nice, but what I read really surprised me. Against. I will not read further parts of the series.

"the future is yet to be written"-Ulrike Meinhof ...http://www.myspace.com/baaderbrains i really hate the german hollywood version of the RAF from which this book is based on this book also repeats the same bourgeois lies...
I've read a lot about the Civil War history in my county. Most of it centers around the Battle of Ball's Bluff but there was a lot more to it than that. I enjoyed reading about the politics of Loudoun back then; northern part of the county for Union, southern part for secession. Not a bad book.

A narrative bio that is an enigma where the protoganist traveled frequently in the midst of chaos and confusion of 20th Century and who was an intellectual connected to the top writers, hollywood entertainers and figures in mid 1900's.

Rating this in my 8 year old mindset, this may be one of the greatest books ever written. I read it about 6 times in the course of a single year, and though it's only nostalgia that informs my opinion now, thinking about it fills me with warmth.
Powerful and poetic. Griffin looks at the history of the oppression of woman, going back and forth between a patriarchal voice, and a female voice that slowly grasps its own power. Amazing revelations about the role of witch hunts in the destruction of women's knowledge and community, as well as the disturbing similarities between the treatment of women and that of animals.

While I didn't think this was as strong a book as Doomsday Book or To Say Nothing of the Dog (which were each fantastic in their own way), it was thoroughly entertaining and successful with its narrower scope. It's NOT science fiction, unless you define science fiction as being fiction about scientists doing research. It's got Willis' usual brisk style and humor, and it's made even funnier by reading it 10 or 15 years after publication, since a lot of the research mentioned is about fads. The recurring restaurant scenes had me howling. This is one I'll definitely reread when I need a good laugh.
