I liked this book. It's made me more interested in historical fiction and the ways authors can imagine the motivations and realities behind recorded events. I like that a clear answer wasn't given at the end, by the way. It reminds me of real life.

While Charlaine Harris is not the best writer on the planet, I did finish this book in three days, so she's got something going for her! This was a fun, light read, and a nice fleshing-out of the characters I've come to know on "True Blood."

This was a helpful book, considering I have encountered quite a few explosive children in my daycare and public school work. Basically, his advice is that, rather than try to force your will upon a child, you need to talk through recurring problems, find out what it is that upsets the child, and come up with a mutually satisfactory solution. Forcing is nearly always a bad idea, especially with an explosive child that doesn't easily adapt to a change in plans. Also had a helpful chapter in listing some common behaviors and tendencies of explosive children, and an explanation of why they act this way.
