Fun book; a quick and easy read. I love the Tudor court and all of their intrigues and while there are some liberties taken in most of these historical fiction novels, you're still amazed at the details that are true!

I enjoyed this book whoever its not your typical King book. The short length of this book makes it an easy/quick read, however you don't get the detailed characters and backgrounds that I love reading in the other King books-kind of missed that here. I loved the illustrations that went along with the story as well. All in all a good quick story to read.

This book was just a great as the first. Picks up right where the first book left off with the same great style of writing and depth of characters. The movie did these books no justice at all. Hollywood butchered this story.

Read this on vacation in Maui For book club in April - really liked it. Interesting story - rich in detail about racing cars some of which was lost on me. however. Having the dog's point of view as he tells the story of his and his masters life together was. Really recommend it especially for dog lovers.

Amanda Hocking's "Hollowland" is a post-apocalyptic world where people are infected by a rabies type virus that turns them into Zoombies. I found these Zoombies interesting; although I find Max Brooks' Zoombies far more terrifying. Remy, the teenage protagonist has a coming of age experience as she fights Zoombies and marauders while looking for her much younger brother Max. I look forward to the next book in the series to see how Remy's character developes.I want to give this book a rating of a three and a half or not quite a four as Remy's teenagness is a little syrupy to handle at times.

** spoiler alert ** I thought this was a very informative book for my 8-year-old to learn more about his teeth. My 4-year-old sat through some of it but he was a little bored. The book talks about . . . . Animals and their teeth. It has 10 animals (dog, cat, croc, rat, horse, pig, wild pig, snake, elephant, walrus, and a duck) and gives a brief description of each one (When a crocodile's mouth is closed, its teeth are on the outside). The timeline of your teeth from before birth to age 13. The inside of a tooth. What it's like to lose your first tooth and what other countries do when they lose a tooth (In Greece, India, and China, kids throw lost teeth over the roofs of their homes.) Different permanent teeth (incisors, canines, bicuspids, molars). Tooth decay. How to brush properly (in circles, not up and down). When and how to floss. What will happen during a routine dental check-up. What to eat to keep your teeth healthy. Steps to take if you have a toothache, knocked-out permanent tooth, broken tooth or bleeding gums. It recapped with a list of things to do, and not to do.

I probably would have liked it more if i wasn't trying to complete a CEU test in the process. Interesting, a good template for working with trauma, and a good reinforcement for the way i have worked with trauma survivors in my various clinical experiences. Probably a very necessary read for anyone going into, or interested in the field of psychotherapy.
