Incredible and easy to follow plot. A bit of a cliche story but with a twist that could most definitely let it pass off as an original(in a good way). And the biggest selling point is the writing style and structure of the story, which adds to the easy of reading. The creativity that's utilized in this book is truly inspiring to writer, especially the ending. This is one part of the book that I adored, it seemed like the author was not merely trying to write a good story but try to entertain as well. His construction of varying character identities and voices make the book easy to relate to not only teens but people of all walk of life. From the first page of the book, perhaps even the first sentence, the purpose or authorial intent is already clear. With that said, the most important message is to fight the norm of being boxed into a mundane, non influential life without ever making an impact nor pursuing the full extent of one's valor and strengths. Thought this book isn't the first avenues in the literature world where I've come across this message, the delivery system is indeed noteworthy and makes the relearning of the lesson all the more enjoyable. And that idea isn't one that one learns once and its intuitive but must be re-explored, reevaluated and this book is a great way to go about it. I must say it does make me want to step out of my comfort zone at least for a little bit.

The book is about how split-second decisions can often times be the best one, as opposed to long thought over ones. The author provides many reasons for it and examples of it shown through interesting and fun anecdotes.

Possibly the best Alice Hoffman novel I've read. Some of the chapters were almost stories in and of themselves. The way the author wove the characters and generations into the history of their town was skilled and made for a good story.

Meh. I started reading it, put it down for a couple weeks, and then decided to finish it. It was confusing in the beginning. I was kind of annoyed trying to figure out where the plot was going. I finally got into the story and then it felt rushed at the end.

I loved this book along with all of the others. Cassandra Clare did not let me down. As with the other two books I could not put this one down. I highly recommend this trilogy!

As always, J.K Rowling has captured my attention. The Prisoner of Azkaban was better the second time around and I have realized the story came to life when I looked at it with a fresh pair of eyes. I am very glad that J.K Rowling’s, Harry Potter series has remained on my bookshelf all of these years.
