I enjoyed it guiltily. I confess I will be looking up and reading the sequels as the story really did not come to a resolution but was left open as an old timy serial cliffhanger!

This book was a gift to me. Its an early reader about a hyper little girl kangaroo. The name of the story has stayed with me because its cute, but I don't remember the plot and I don't think it was meant to tell me to be more calm as a kid either.

I usually never read westerns, but I stumbled upon this book years ago and just loved it. An American classic.

I forgot to enter this in. I read it a few years ago or should I say listened to it.

Sam got this for his b-day and it was instantly chosen as his favorite book for us to read in his kindergarten class for his "birthday party" at school. Super fun and super cute story about a silly guinea pig and the importance of true friends.

This was such a great book to read. I couldn't put it down.

The biography of a little demon, ostensibly alive in the pages of the very book you are holding, and more than willing to help you get damned for all eternity. It's alright. Not as horrifying or unsettling as, say, The Books Of blood; or as personally entertaining as either The Thief of Always or any of the Aberat series. But fun in it's own right. A little gore, a little scare. Not too much else really in there. Oh, I rhymed. It was a gift and a welcome one at that. I always accept books. And I didn't know what to expect so I was certainly not disappointed. I recommend this novel as a commuting book: a way to keep your mind busy while on the train going to or from work. I rhymed again! Egad! I'd better stop before this gets any worse.

This was really good
It almost hurts me to write this review, but this was my least favorite of Joanne Dobson's novels that I have read to date. The beginning was slow and the ending a little flat. The middle had such build of anticipation and so many avenues of possibility, but in the end I feel the weakest route was taken. I certainly do not wish to deter readers from picking up this book. It had all the comfort a series should have in returning to familiar characters, as if you were reuniting with old friends. Dobson's four previous novels left me with high expectations and The Maltese Manuscript just did not deliver for me.
