Awesome book! Jeri Smith-Ready's Aspect of the Crow series is now complete and so worth reading. In the final book, the war is coming to its end. Will Rhia and her people be successful or will the Descendants crush their way of life. The Spirits are in danger of dying, some actually do. The ancient prophecy better arrive before it is to late. The people are experiencing their magic being weakened by the laws of their oppressors. The revolution is tearing the country apart. Torture, death, destruction is all the future holds until no hope is left. Rhia's family has suffered so much and in Reawakened that doesn't change. More of her family die, more are tortured. Who survives? Who wins the war? Who does Raven claim as her own? What happens in the final days? All these question are answered and some will surprise you. Jeri has an incredible world and I'm sad to see it end.

I LOVE hearing everything from Edward's point of view. Equally as interesting as Twilight, or maybe a little more so b/c I already love the story, and love hearing it from another point of view. It's like a whole new story, but not...

"This book was adapted to TV for a PBS special which is where I saw it. I have yet to read it. "

Christie does it again. More twists and turns than a county highway in W Va. Poirrot solves the crime yet again while Hastings is the hapless stooge. Her books are always fun--although mindless.

it was a great book
I had such high hopes for this book. Basically it just tells stories of assholes, defines certain types of assholes, explains why they might be assholes, and it's not until chapter 5 when you finally find out how to deal with them, and it's not even that great. The writing was very dry and boring. Very business-esque, which makes sense since the book stemmed from an article that appeared in the Harvard Business Review. I was bored silly reading this book, but there were parts that I could very much relate to.
A bit of a slog. Not nearly the page turner that I'd hoped for. A bit of a history of the Olympic Penninsula in 1890 plus some in present day, as well. A muddled telling with supernatural elements that were unneeded and never really explained.
Well written with good character involvement regarding a tough subject. I must admit my knowledge of early onset Alzheimers disease is very limited but this novel gave me some understanding of this condition. i was rootting for Alice and her family. I would strong reccomend this as a good read!

Interesting, but the way it was written wasn't my cup of tea.
