The adventures of a gormless love rat, powered simply by id. I can't decide if he deserves this nuanced portrayal, or just a damn good slap.

This is a great book to read on a long trip. It's a collection of short essays and interviews with Rollin's unique worldview. At times cynical, depressing and inspiring. I've re-read it many times.

I started out reading this book thinking that it was going to be like Bill Bryson's other book A Walk In the Woods. I was disappointed that he's a little boring, unlike the aforementioned book. The book goes on for a little too long, but I definitely wanted to go to Australia after reading it.

I truly loved this inside look at the world of books and how booksellers shape that world for readers. It gave me a new appreciation for independent booksellers, for Book Sense, and for what it means to the market for independent booksellers to continue to exist. And I was pleasantly surprised by how much I wanted to keep reading, how Burton pulls you steadily through her memoir.

A very funny travel memoir. It is easy to pick and and put down, so if you are looking for a no-committment read, this is it.
So creative, and practically written about me. I share so much in common with the author/artist that I found myself getting very attached. I laughed, and cried, because it synced up all too well with my life. I love the dorky art style, but what I love most is telling my friends that I just read "The Fart Party". They have no idea how glorious the Fart Party really is.

Unusual idea and plot - it's becoming a little bogged down in the middle of the book. Still ok. Some good philosophies about life.

Written in the voice of a really good history teacher talking to you in a bar. Is as much--or more--about Gilded Age Chicago as about either the psychopath or the World's Fair. (Notice, for example, that the World's Fair, like the psychopath, has a body count.)
Clever at home ideas that promote growth and autonomy.
bastante fácil de leer incluso para aquellos sin conocimientos de física.
