While I enjoyed the book, I don't really understand what all the hubbub is all about, it was not a book that stood out in my mind - entertaining while read, but won't stick in my mind now that I'm done.

This girl is WAY out of touch. She flatly claims the average woman spends $300 a month on clothing. Uuhhh.... that is certainly not being a budget fashionista. Spending $450 on a trench coat is NOT something a thrifty person buys, even if the 'regular' price is over $1000. I read this hoping to find some great ideas on how to bargain shop, but this girl is a sucker for overpriced brand names, and she actively promotes the idea that every woman should spend $200 on a purse.

Cute little collection of wizard "fairy-tales" and Dumbledore's "commentary." This was a quick, light-hearted read, although I think you would have to be a little bit familiar with Harry Potter to really get it.

This is really more of a 3 1/2 than a 3. The action was a bit slow in the beginning, and Enzo's somewhat pompous manner of "speaking" bugged me, but the emotion in these pages is palpable and real, and the racing metaphor is beautiful. Oh, and I cried at the end. Enough said.

Loved it. Can't say enough good things. I loved Celia Foote most. She was just as ostracized as the black people because she still wasn't exactly like everyone else. Entertaining look at the south in the 1960s. I can't wait to see the movie.
