This book captured my attention in many ways because first of all, the title is called "Wtf" and I knew right away it will be about a teenager(s) who is dealing with a problem. I enjoy reading books about teenagers and how they deal with their complications because they always teach you life lessons that you need to be aware of otherwise you would end up in a situation and you would struggle to find a way out. "Wtf" is made up of perspectives from six people on one Friday night full of wild night parties, drug dealers and catastrophic experiences. Throughout the book I encountered with several themes but I considered the main theme of the book to be "Your actions can say it all in three letters-- Wtf!" This book contained a lot of action and suspense and I found myself reading on to see what surprise awaits in the next page. Overall, I did like this book it was pretty amusing yet disturbing to read.

Not my favorite in the HP series. Still enjoyable, but not as well-written or engaging as some of her others. Would give 3.5 stars-- sometimes a girl just needs a half...

It really is like the show, in book form. Lots of hits, a few misses, a handful of unnecessarily offensive entries, and when it's on, it's some of best political satire of our young millenium.

The Name of This Book Is Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch “Question: What is not enough for one, just right for two, and too much for three? Answer: A secret.” It’s a dumb joke, right? Max-Ernest discovers this the hard way – by delivering this joke to each of his 20 classmates in succession. Their reaction was not unlike yours. Lucky for Max-Ernest, he has much more going on in his life than his stand-up comedy, and his joke helps him meet his classmate, Cassandra – Cass for short. He and Cass are both eleven. They live in a town not unlike yours, on a street not unlike yours, and go to a school not unlike yours. It might as well be Your Hometown. Cass’s substitute grandfathers own a store that “sells” (but not really, because they don’t want to get rid of anything) the belongings of people who have died. Their latest find is the property of a strange, reclusive magician. Cass and Max-Ernest sneak into the magician’s home, and that’s when the trouble begins. It turns out our heroes are not the only ones who are interested in the old man’s property. The most coveted item is called The Symphony of Smells, and it contains small, dusty vials of scents that have been matched with musical instruments. [Show page 43.:] Not only is The Symphony of Smells a mystery, but so too are the contents hidden in the back by a velvet panel – recipes of smells. Keep reading the book to find out how the magician thinks smells and sounds are linked, and what other dastardly characters want this information and will stop at nothing to get it. I learned a lot about what happened behind the scenes in Washington as the Balkans fell apart. The book also offers great insight about Bush I and Clinton's campaigns, at least for those of us who were too young/apathetic at the time to pay close attention. Like any political book, this is proof that politicians' careers never die, as names like Rumsfeld, Cheney, Powell, Wolfowitz and Hill (Christopher R., chief negotiator w/North Korea) resurface in today's headlines.

This was a pretty wild experience. Imagining a dystopia where only one person in the world can see is a remarkable exercise. The writing is spare and reserved while exploding whole worlds of meaning. I did have trouble with the unconventional punctuation (There are no quotation marks when anyone is speaking) but it was a very interesting book.

When my mother gave me this book and said, "I think you will like this; I read it over a vacation in a week when I was your age," I took one look at the massive text and couldn't believe it. She also said that I reminded her of the characters....a statement to this day I take pride in.... And that is exactly what I learned from this book: that pride is most beautiful thing, and to live on this earth means that one must understand its reality, and learn to use one's mind to make it what one wants it to be. It is about truly loving life and all that it means to 'live' it. It is the reason why I understand myself as a man who belongs on earth.... It is very long (almost 1200 pages), so get ready for an epic. I won't try to say it is great literature, though if the style fits the person who is reading it, it will certainly be an amazing read. It can be long-winded and wordy at times, but what philospher isn't? My advice: stick with it through the first half of the first section: it takes it bit to get going in the book, but once it starts, it is worth it.... To the proposition that we all have inside of us the inherent values to be heros: we just need to learn the virtues that will bring those values out of us... C.S. Leary

This book is the true story of Robertson McQuilkin & his wife Muriel. She suffered from Alzheimers for 10 years & he was her caregiver. It's a love story which captures the true meaning of what marriage vows are and how seriously they should be taken. Statistics show that a huge percentage of marriages come to an end when one spouse or the other becomes ill or handicapped & the marriage is not a "bed of roses" any more. Would be a good book for someone getting ready for marriage to see what real commitment is all about.

One of the funniest books I've ever read. This goes up there with King Dork in the "Teen Geek Humilation Humor" genre.

Bu kitap biraz beklenmedik ve biraz garip / diğer üç yetişkin daha yetişkin. Hikaye ilginçti ve beni spor salonunda eğlendirdi dedi.
