I love most everything about Gregory. I love a historical romance that transports the reader to that place and time. I also have a particular affinity for all things princess, so I love that Gregory focuses on the royalty. I would recommend this one and The Queen's Fool. Good stuff.

That was definitely a spellbinding journey! Full of mysteries, kept me waiting and hoping and hanging throughout the book.. I didn't think a mystery in a ship, a SPACESHIP would be possible! With the limited space and all, you know? But, Beth Revis pulled it. The idea was different, that was the main reason why I picked this book up in the first place. And the story was not only narrated by one person, but by two different people. A different narrator in every chapter. It really helped to understand the story a lot better since I saw it through two different sets of eyes. It felt real! The writer managed to write the story smoothly. And it successfully played with my emotions.. I really felt as if I was there. However, all the mysteries are solved in this book. So, I don't have to wait for the sequel, A Million Suns, in suspense. Maybe, that is the downside of this book. If I have to wait, I will never forget.. But this book is definitely recommended!

I'm not sure what it is exactly that I like about Michael Connelly because every time I read one of his books I'm always frustrated by his style. Yet, I keep coming back. I've mainly read his Harry Bosch books and would recommend them to people who enjoy reading mysteries with old-style male detectives.

this was a fun story. the main theme was two assistant producers vieing for the producers spot..one of these women was doing very unkind things inorder to "win" the position...there was also a nice romance thrown in...all in all this was worth the read...try it if you are looking for light and meaningless!!

Funny, inspiring, endearing story. It was such a "success in the face of adversity" story I felt like reader the cheerleader and was sad when it ended and I couldn't read anymore about the author and her family. This is a great book.

While an enjoyable read, it is rather long and dense. If you find Jane Austen somewhat boring, you will not like Villette. That said, I did enjoy it, though it is probably not a book that I will read over and over again.
