** spoiler alert ** OMG!!!! So amazing but a horrible series end? We need a 6th book!!! Like this if you agree! Also for all the people saying that they seemed to old I understand where you're coming from but I think that Gregor and Luxa were forced to endure hardships none of us could comprehend at a very early age therefore making them far more mature than any regular children their age. We can't even classify them or compare them to children around us because none of us have done anything close to the things they've done. No regular 12 year old has had to fight in a war or go on quests and things like that. Also the whole Gluxa thing, the same applies. Gregor and Luxa were taught to appreciate the life they had and the time they were given so when they were given an opportunity they took it. They both thought they were going to die so they did what they thought they never would get to do again. And one more thing... I just can't imagine Gregor or Luxa with anyone else. I know it's unrealistic that they are truly in love, but that's what ficiton is for!

I have so far thoroughly enjoyed Dark Angel and The Chosen and am currently reading Soulmate with good reaction too. I was surprised at liking these stories because they are older and simply reprinted into new collections, which I think is very smart. It certainly got me reading them when I wouldn't have paid them any attention as small YA paperbacks at the library. But once I realized what they were, I read those versions one by one from the library and have enjoyed all enough that I will certainly buy all three volumes now that Vol. 3 is out (Huntress...) Mine is already on its way from Amazon 4/4/09 which I thought was early?

What to say about this novel? I will begin by saying that I saw the movie long before I sat down to read the book. I liked the movie well enough, and as cliche as this sounds, the book is much better. I found the beginning of the book slightly confusing, but once I got used to the author's style of writing, I was already into the story. I really liked the character of Susie Salmon, like the fish. It was a tragic tale and how her family dealt with the entire process of grief. Overall, I liked this novel. It had a lot of "food for thought" moments for me...and I would recommend it to the young adult demographic, as well as adults. A good read...

just like any other lemony snicket book, I LOVED IT! i feel so bad for those poor kids.... when i read this i couldnt wait for the 13th book... THE END! btw, the reason that i dont rate these higher is because while I LOVE THEM... they don't WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOOW me like stephenie meyer's books do...

what I loved most about this book was the way they talked about food and the joy of cooking, and the mystery was ok. but yeah I am pretty sure I will read all the others just because. a cute book, good recipes.
