Silly to review this, really. If you're interested in free-heel skiing, you'll have already read it, and if you're not, you should do your best *not* to become interested, since it's a sad and lonely life, full of leg-press machines and ice-baths.

I put it in academic because the author was a grad school advisor so I studied the book's craft elements. It's a wonderful books about celebrity and sex and love and desire. It stays with you longer than you'd probably like because it does force you to examine yourself and notice people on the street that seem invisible. Suddenly you want to know what's going on in their heads. Those quiet delicate people.

I don't get why the highest security wizard prison in the world employs blind guards.

The Bronze Pen - This book just wasn't gripping. The plot takes a long time in gaining momentum - much too long in fact. I gave it up about a third of the way through, just after Audrey receives the mystical bronze pen. I found myself guessing what was going to happen instead of anxiously enjoying the plot. Audrey and her dilemma with her father's illness just aren't interesting enough to care about.

Overdoes the usual "what is reality?" thing. Again, though, great title.
yay for the "average" girl getting the amazing guy and the happy ending. :)
I rarely read a book in one sitting anymore and while it did take me two sittings I have to say I enjoyed the book. A definite page turner for me. I'm just sorry I read the book as it first came out because now I'll have to wait a year for the sequel to find out what happens to Sam.

Not your average day crime thriller taking place in post modern futurama London... A good read with some )of course) plot twists to keep you on your toes...

This book is full of knowledge, it explains pretty much everything you can know about EQ and what to do with it. You will learn how EQ matters more than IQ when it comes to having success in life. I think it is a must read for people with small children (babies included) as it contains a wealth of knowledge on raising kids to be emotionally healthy and well-developed. Sometimes difficult to read as it can get very scientific, but an amazing book anyway.

This book seems to get rave reviews so I guess it just wasn't my thing. I just like more action than what was in this story. It seemed like a whole lot of nothing happened, and it took forever for me to finish it. I was so disappointed. Frank & Jeannie were both hateful characters and the story line very depressing. I'm surprised I read all the way through, should have just gave up and went on to something else.
