This book had me guessing the entire time. Did Nora die? Did Patch die? Is Jules really gone? Will Miss Greene come back?

One of my favorites. I love the way Shea dicovers Jacques. I also like the realism of his 'wild' and not quite sane nature considering his having been buried alive. Her acceptance and understanding of his nature is touching.

I thought this was a wonderful book for children and adults alike. The two main characters, a young boy and girl, have such fun personalities right from the start. The story is good, the writing is good, characters, everything.

Intriguing.
Intense! Quirky! Tearful! Fantastic!!!! I found myself lost in this book from start to finish... Phury shed a whole different light on the series, as did prior books. It's amazing how J.R. Ward captures each brother in all of the books and yet each book has its own personality... Phury's book took me to a whole different corner, a totally different level... I cried... literally, I laughed out loud and beyond that, I was totally angry at times... I lived in this world and within each page I found something new... Heart warming, sad, wistful, strong and simply beautiful.... I loved Phury's story and once again my favourite author topped my imagination through her wonderful words... Recommended... highly (after the other books of course!) **huge sighs**
The second book in the Thirst series is just as interesting as the first. Sita is a complex blend of blood thirsty vampire, and vigilante. However, she is finally given the opportunity to just be human and to have a child. But, is being human something she can handle? Does Sita crave the power of a vampire? Does the world need her unique form of brutal justice? What kind of child does Sita have? These and more questions regarding Sita come to light in the second in this exciting vampire series.
This is the first in the Asey Mayo series that I think all take place in Cape Cod. Asey Mayo is a handyman and is billed as a typical Cape Cod local, complete with odd speech patterns and incredible insight into human beings. That being said, I found it kind of boring. Too much conversation and not enough character development to help me keep track of who the various characters were. You know it's a bad sign when you have to remind yourself to take special note of who is speaking and stretch to remember if she's the young, pretty one or the older, overweight one. Mayo employed Miss Marple's technique of people reminding her of people she knew and their actions not straying from their type. This did make me wonder whether Agatha Christie stole this idea from Taylor but the characterization issues made this a little hard to buy. One point of interest was the historical details--the vacation house had electricity which was novel and a major point of the plot hinged on the bathing house and its key.

i really got into the story and the characters a lot more than i initially thought i would just from the first chapter. i might be thinking about this one for a while.
The best play by the best play write. A reflection on the human condition, an exploration of depression, a tragedy in the greatest Greek sense. You need not see or read anything else until you experience Hamlet.
