4.5 stars I only started reading romance a few years ago and prior to that I read mostly scifi/fantasy. So it's great to find a scifi romance for Science Fiction fans. DS does a great job with the terra-forming and with the futuristic lingo and artifacts/weapons he has created. His 'science' is very plausible in this HardCell 'verse. The author has created two memorable characters in Runt and Ox. Runt's loneliness and Ox's simple pleasure in the ocean and open spaces are just a couple of the endearing aspects of their personalities. The size difference sometimes bothers me but overall I love this series and will be waiting impatiently for the next release.

covers much of the same ground as the omnivore's dilemma but more -- infinitely more -- gracefully.

This book is light, fun, smart, and everything else you expect from a Neal Stephenson book. Admittedly, upon rereading it, it makes FAR more sense after you've taken a little genetics and organic chemistry, but I don't remember being confused the first time I read it either. That's something Stephenson does really well: he writes intellectual stuff so that you feel smarter, not dumber while reading. The main character, S.T., is a ton of fun to hang out with. The story bounces along, the characters are so real you could swear you'd run into them somewhere, and Boston is so lovingly rendered that it makes you homesick.

This book reminds me of classic stories, especially mirroring The Odyssey. The story of a young man falling in love with a woman but yet he has to overcome so many obstacles including nature and the unfortunate social class he is in. It's a wonderful classic story, pretty predictable, but Mishima's writing is absolutely beautiful. I was dying to go to the ocean and just stare out as so many characters did in this book.

Love this book because the Vampire is everything you wished he would be and more. You just have to read it because there are no words to describe the bone chilling mystery and desire that this book has.

A lyrical, wandering, somewhat vague children's book written with a vocabulary and style better understood by adults. I got the sense that DiCamillo was trying to create a story around a nebulous idea that she likes but that she hasn't been able to completely nail down in her own mind. A pleasant read that I could not remember very well the next day.

من القصص المفضلة لهذا الكاتب. كلما رأيتها قرأتها.أعجبني أسلوبها التصويري .. عموما لا أظن أن هناك قصص من سفاري لم تعجبني إلا الظاهرة واخواتها

this is a hugely funny, laugh-out-loud book that every woman who made it through her childhood should read.
