Kind made me wish I smoked a pipe. The first 200 pages were informative and entertaining. The back 176, kind of dry.

I gave this book ZERO stars because it was the longest, most boring read, ever! I always finish the books I start and this one was a doozy. I liked learning about Chris McCandless' death, but why did it have to take so many pages to talk about it. This author had a need to compare his own life to McCandless' which led to boredom - non-fiction boredom.

Thought it was too much like all the other "text Book" mystery books. Poor girl outcasted from rich family blamed for murder blah blah blah.....I could go on and on b/c I didnt like alot about it, but probably b/c I knew what was going to happen really early in to it so I was bored and pickeds up on petty tuff. But I did like that it was a local author and he talked about local stuff. I am all about supporting local arts. So read it if you have time it took me 2 hours. I wasnt the worst thing I have ever read.

Long ass book and very slow for the first 200 pages or so; but then it blossoms into one of the best works I've ever read. Great way to justify being a capitalist and not caring about anything but money, haha. Can't say I agree completely with the philosophy but I respect the assertiveness and logic of it.

Good book. Not her best one, but much better than the last few! I found the main character Jacquetta very interesting! A little slow to start, but it soon kept me reading, and interested until the end.

depressing. i had trouble finding redeeming qualities in rosemary, nicole AND dick diver. i like to think of it as a phase for fitzgerald...had to get it out of his system? ugh.

This is a great little boy book. A superhero for every letter of the alphabet with awesome pictures. My favorite it "Night Man." Noises at night never make him nervous. You have to see the picture.
