Sad to see the series end. But Suzanne Collins did it in such a way as to keep the stories alive and growing in my head. A book should always end with potential.

This book describes really interesting concept of world of magicians however it is written in such a way that it took me more than a month to finish it. It is not as captivating as it could be. So my only complain is writer style.

LOVE THIS BOOK! Doesn't tell you someone else's "right way to live"--guides you through 8-weeks of a "stuff diet" where YOU determine what is right for YOU! A short read. To the point.

Just as described on the front cover, this is an exciting tall tale for adults. If there's anything more thrilling than whiskey running and crazy characters, I'd like to know.

I really enjoyed this one. It had a much more dangerous plot than the first one, and the slight hint of the supernatural was fun to read about. This one was more character-based than puzzle-based like the first one, but the puzzles in this one were fun to follow. Even though the characters were more "out there" than in the first book, they felt a lot more real. It was also fun to spend a much more intimate time in Disneyland. I really felt like I was there at times. (Of course, I've been to the same places as the characters many, many times.) The part of the book that took place on the Jungle Cruise was especially fun--it took me back to my days as a skipper navigating the rivers of the world and cracking corny jokes. I highly recommend this book!

WOW!!! If anyone is looking for a spectacular series of YA novels you've GOT to have a look at these!! Kiersten White is officially up there with my favorite authors of ALL TIME! With her wit and humor she never fails to make me laugh; these two books (I am also referring to Supernaturally because i guess i am just too lazy to write separate reviews) were actually extremely hard to put down. I am a mother of two little girls, an almost 2 year old and an almost 5 year old, and I glad i have a great husband or my girls would have been a bit neglected for the couple of days i was reading these two books. The main Character Evie is incredibly lovable, and also a bit bad-ass as well which i found so refreshing after being smothered with the pathetic creature that is Bella Swan. I loved the complex and interesting Characters, the witty banter and parts of this book that made me literally laugh out loud, i loved every single second of the entire story and i CAN NOT WAIT for book number 3 - Endlessly - to be released this year!!!!! The two things i am absolutely dying for this year are Endlessly and the HUNGER GAMES MOVIE!!! *Gasp* It's going to be a great year, i can feel it! P.s. Thank you Taneika for recommending these books and showing me Kiersten White's Vlog and Blogs, you two have a lot in common <3 xxx

I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading anything else she writes in this series. There's a quote from the author on the back cover: "A while ago, I went on a 'reread Charles Dickens' binge. Inspired, I cried, 'I can do that!' I couldn't. What came out was Solomon Snow." I loved the hints of Charles Dickens that showed up in Solomon Snow: in the way she titles her chapters, names of minor characters (Lazarus Pinchpenny,Irma Spindletrap, Arnold Scubbins.)Not that you should pick this book up and expect to find Dickens. I just happen to be a fan of his; so I couldn't help finding similarities. Her writing style is very nicely uncomplicated; it doesn't take itself too seriously. There were definitely "Nichoals Nickleby" references; also "Oliver Twist" and "The Old Curiosity Shoppe" - possibly more that I didn't pick up on. Someday I hope my children will be reading Dickens - Solomon Snow will be a good stepping stone along the way. Kaye Umansky's writing just might make his books feel familiar.
