I couldn't put this one down. Not a great ending, but the whole book was worth while. Great if you are interested in zombies and cell phones causing the apocolypse. I'm hoping for a sequel, soon!

This story primarily focused on Rakesh Ahuja, a politician in India, and his wife and one of his many children. I found the marital relationship fascinating. I didn't quite understand his work political issues, but it could have been that I was so intrigued by the marital aspect that I was just phoning it in when he was dealing with the work issues. The son Arjun was interesting but really didn't get a lot of airtime except for his crush on the girl on the bus that he tries to do a rock concert for.

Loved this book. I put off reading it for so long because of it being "the book to read". Now that I've read book one, I'm dying to know what happens...cliff hangers!!:) I loved the suspense throughout the entire novel. Definitely kept me interested and wanting more!!

This was my textbook for the first semester of my ASL class. It is clearly written, well-organized and informative. The accompanying DVD was also quite helpful since it is best to see the vocabulary and grammar structure being used in context.

What is interesting to me about this series is the setting. It's set in North Louisiana, and before you guys groan at how they'll make us all out to look like hicks as always, it's not really like that. I think the author suceeds (in part) in capturing a rural Louisiana feel, (having grown up in it, I ought to be able to tell.) From there it's an added bonus that I get to play with vamps and shapeshifters. :-)
