Bought from Amazon, and I still own a copy. APART OF THE GOODREADS 2012 READING CHALLENGE. Review/Rating: 4 out of 5 Ease of Reading Text: 5 out of 5 Illustrations: 5 out of 5 Plot: 5 out of 5 Art Touch-Up: 5 out of 5 Translation: 4 out of 5 Design: 5 out of 5 When Ion Tsuburagi chants her first name, good things happen to her. However, when she meet Mikado and touches something he’s been developing, her powers start growing into something more. What is the thing she touched; and why is it giving Ion special powers? I really like Arina Tanemura’s works — I have two other works by her. Her artwork is always quite good. All her character pretty much show a happy personality — rarely ever sad, but hides their sadness under their smile — and this one volume manga is no exception. In this manga, there a couple of places where the artwork could been better, but you hardly ever notice it (unless you are really looking hard). ;) I love all of the characters’ personalities, even Ion’s happy-go-lucky one — especially when she turns into Kitty Ion (so cute). <3 Even Psychic Man’s small appearances were enjoyable. The designs for each character were wonderful, especially Kouki, the student council president, with his hair down. *drools* Now that gotten the artwork part done, now for the plot. The romance is cliche, especially for a shoujo manga, but it’s still very enjoyable. I like how subtle the supernatural theme (telekinesis) is, and how it doesn’t clash with the romance parts. I kind of hoped she would end up with someone else, but oh well. :P Anyways, overall, Tanemura put together a wonderfully drawn manga that I enjoyed very much. However, that’s not all, we need to go over how the Translation, Designing, and Art Touch-Up/Lettering people did from VIZ. The art touch-up was very well done, you could hardly notice the errors in redrawing from where the Japanese was at. Also, I loved the cover design that VIZ did for the English version of ION. However, I wish some of the wording for the sentences and SFX were just a little bit better. Overall, VIZ did a pretty good job bringing this Japanese manga to life in English. :D

I really enjoyed this book, it's a very quick and easy read. It's something very different from a lot of books that I've read recently.

More predictable than most books and that's what turned me off the most. It was rather boring and whilst I know it was a short story, nothing really happened. Holly is a frustrated pregnant woman who wants her three lovers to service her sexually. Then goes into labor.

As bad an idea for fiction as was The Fountainhead. Characters only vehicles for Huxley's philosophy. Very very flat and boring characters. And very very flat and boring plot. But it's in the canon, so you might want to read it so that you can later condemn it.

Fantastic take on the Pan story we know so well.
Made me want to go on a road trip, just not with jerks that talk like this, think like this, write like this, and act like this. Ugh.
I love Melina Marchetta, she brings characters to life like no one else does. The Piper's Son is the companion book to Saving Francesca, there is not need to actually read one to understand the other, but believe when I say they are BOTH worth reading. I can't even describe how good this book was. Thomas has definitely grown and he is going through a lot of issues. And I loved that this book wasn't just about Tom, but about his aunt as well. There is so much anger & fear going on in this book, but it's about family & what happens when a terrible tragedy happens. Anyway, I LOVED this book. LOVED it. EVERYONE should read it.

This book is extremely racist and homophobic. The characterizations are ridiculously outdated and offensive. Fuck This Book.

Not a good explanation of the partition of India/Pakistan, it is heavily generalized and extremely one-sided
