A geek's delight.

That's a really great book. It sheds new light on a lot of the ways our past affects us, and the ways may unknowingly hurt each other because of our own family commandments we have inherited through past generations. I recommend this book!

Ick. Why did they make us read this? Just because we're teenagers we're supposed to relate to these creeps?
An interesting twist on the Goldilocks tale, told completely through black and white drawings. Interestingly, my sympathies lie with the bears in both versions.

Ordinary Boy is the only person in Superopolis without some sort of super ability (or so he thinks). His idol is the Amazing Indestructo, who regularly defeats the evil Professor Brain-Drain. Cute, with adventures and situations clearly written for upper elementary school children, with little in jokes for adults who also read the book (nothing naughty, just grown up. I got it from the library to entice my non-readers to try something others their age have enjoyed. This wasn't up their aisle, but it's certainly okay for others.
"Jesus, Mary, Muhammad and Vishnu, how good to see you, Richard Parker!" Mantel tells a nice allegory (not too forced, and not overly bookclub, sentimental) about religion, faith and survival. Overall, I'm glad I overcame my snobbish preconceptions and just read it.

The great American novel about office cubicle life. I really liked it, it was funny, graceful, and surprising.

A good fluff book. Kept me intrigued....which is saying something. I'd like to read more from this author...

Quick read. High school for naughty paranormals with a killer on the loose. Fun (despite the murders - how did that happen?) and has enough twists to keep you interested.

Libby Sarjeant retired from acting to re-invent her life. She's helping produce a play about local events which is getting mixed reactions from the people originally involved. When one of the actors dies, is it a reflection of the older murders and is it linked to the accidents happening in the theatre. Not an impressive read but not a bad read, in fact it's quite pedestrian and wouldn't induce me to hunt up more books by this author, however I wouldn't avoid books by this author.
