Read this + Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf back-to-back and you'll never fall innocently in love again.

It was okay. Didn't provide much info on how to stay protected from mosquitoes.

I thought this book started off interesting, had some lag in the middle, but really picked up at the end. I am reading through the Modern Library's Top 100 Novels of All Time, starting with this one [#100]! I would definitely suggest this book to a friend. The writing is somewhat reminiscent of a Jane Austen novel, I enjoyed it!

4.5 stars I can't get my thoughts together, but to sum it up, I loved Pia and Dragos. They were a great couple and I liked how they worked toward making a relationship work for them. I was just as surprised as the rest of them when Pia's shift form was revealed. The story involving the Dark Fae king was just OK. The focus of this story was Pia and Dragos and that was fine with me.

What a surprise. An fantastic read. Filled with irony and understatement. It takes on an air, if somewhat unintentionally of "A Hitchhikers Guide to the Hindu Kush". Really would be the same thing if Arthur Dent suddenly decided to take up climbing.
i was surprised about how much i enjoyed the series. this was a good ending to it, even though i wish there were more.
"Forward the Foundation", Asimov's last novel (written just before his death, published just after), suffers from all the problems of "Prelude to Foundation" only magnified tenfold. Once again, Hari Seldon is transmogrified into an action hero to save the crisis of the day in a prequel to the older and vastly superior Foundation novels. Unlike Prelude, however, there's not enough going on outside the short-term arc to make this one worthwhile. It's just plain silly. Part of what makes the Foundation stories so great is their ability to both offer a good story and present the idea that the individual events pale in significance to the overarching history that Seldon has planned. "Forward the Foundation" accomplishes neither.
As said in "A Midsummer Night's Dream": "The most lamentable comedy...A tedious brief scene... very tragical mirth." (The movie's even better.)

I like his move of trying to justify CMT on grounds of theoretical physics-- his math is woefully underdone here, but the math on his website carries onward where this book fails.
I love travel lists, and I loved this book. It's especially great if you have unlimited money, because it emphasizes expensive spas, hotels, and restaurants. I don't have unlimited money, but I still loved this book.
