This was an enjoyable audio experience. I read paperback version really long, long ago and even now, it was still the same awesome experience. The character were rich, warm and plot developed with mysterious touch.

Based on the title, I wanted to love this book. There were times when I came rather close to developing an affectionate regard for it, but always not quite never loving it. McCulles' writing is rich and textured and she has a great bit towards the middle about Mick listening in to music outside of someone's window and the begining was ptretty touching and lofty, but all in all, this book failed to deilver in its text what I hoped to get from its title.

This. Book. Was. Amazing. Does that count as a review or should I clarify? Marillier is a beautiful writer and after reading only two of her books, I have fallen in love with her work. Making me hungry for more of her books. Wildwood Dancing had amazing characters, a beautiful world, a superb amount of description and enough emotion to tide me over. Not to mention that beautiful love story. Made me believe in true love and love at first sight. The sibling love, the deep loving friendship between Jena and Gogu [who I should mention I loved and adored. Makes me want a pet frog and frogs are cool.] I loved it all. It was a beautiful read and I could not put it down. And this is my review...For now. Just...This book is highly recommended. Read it. Right meow.
