Another amazing book in the Psy-Changeling series! I think I loved this book even more than the first because there was more to the PsyNet and more talk about the Psy way of life. I'm such a sci-fi geek! Plus, I'd been hoping Vaughn would get a happy ending. He was so tormented and lonesome in the first book. I hope in the other books they still talk about/interact with the other characters so I can get glimpses into their new/developing relationships. I love this series. <3

** spoiler alert ** I found this book at the airport and it was one heck of a book! It all started with a ploice women Karen and her partner Phil, they are called by a Misha Gibson who is looking for her dad after 21 years. They look for him as much as they can but then discovers that he didnt go scabbing (he was a miner) he stayed in Scotland however they are drawn to a blank. Also they are looking for one of the most weathliest men in Scotland grandson after a journalist Bel finds the ransom poster in a deserted villa. The case is re-opened and Karen thinks there may be a conection. The book takes us from Scotland to Italy (where the poster was found), and Bel is appionted to find out what happerned to his grnadson after the ransom went wroung and his daughter Cat was shoot. Bel discovers that the deserted house was being lived in by a puppeter group who are from all over Europe. But then agian discovers that one of the men had a very simualar background to the grandson who was took 21 years ago, Adam. When she finds him after a lot of searching she discovers that he is the missing grandson however now has the name Gabriel, and his dad is Mick. Mick died and left a letter sating that he fell in love with Cat when they where painting (they both liked painting) and had a child, however even though Cat was the daughter to one of the most powerfull men in Scotland she had money problems. They then decided to pretent that she was kidnaped and they so called kidnappers wanated a million pounds for her and her sons safe return. Because Brodie Grant didnt know Cat was seeing Mick he wouldnt even know who he was so they wouldnt get found out however when it all went wrong Cat died and Mick fled the country to Italy, however when Gabriel (aka Adam) fond out about his dads past he killed his freind who was in with the plot in the Tusany villa then when Bel fond out he killed her aswell so she wouldnt spill the beans to anyone, Adam went back to Scotland to Brodie however did he get found out? and all this time Karne and Phil who doing everthing they could to find out what happerned. This was a great book and I will possibly read some more of hers!

This book is so moving. Gives you a different perspective on death and letting go. Lots of suspense and very heart wrenching. BTW, the movie is no where near as good as this book!

What is it about books that we like, dose it have to do with adventure, the excitement, or is it just really because it is either reality or someone inter desires. Well a book I enjoyed was called Secrets in the Shadows and it was written by Anne Schraff. I enjoyed this book because I like the author, the adventure, and I liked that it was realistic. A book that includes all of these thing and more must be good because these are some of the things that makes a book interesting. First of all, I enjoyed reading the book Secrets in the Shadows because I enjoy reading books written by the author Ann Schraff. I think that this author writes good material and they focus more on things that are happening today rather than things that are so old and boring that if you try to read it you’ll out because there was no excitement. This author writes about exciting things that people go though in life and when the setting has to be explained to set the scenery it is well detailed. By the way the author takes their time to make sure all of these things are included so that it well meets the reader’s interest so they will continue to enjoy the different pieces written by that author and make them want to read their next book. Secondly, I enjoyed the book Secrets in the Shadows because it included adventure. This was not one of those boring books that you teacher assigned that you can’t bear to read, but you have not choice and when you try to you fall asleep. Secrets in the Shadows was one of those books that change scenery many of times because it was always something new happening and not just reliving the same thing over and over again. This book talked about the life of a teenage named Roylin Bailey who life was a nightmare, now does that sound boring to you (don’t think so). Lastly, I enjoyed reading the book Secrets in the Shadows because it was realistic. It was not just some made-up story that people hope for in life but the tragedy that is happening. The book included high school, a new student, fallen in love, lost of friends, etc. The things that I just mentioned is what people go though in their everyday life but this author finds away to make it sound better. This book dialed with real life situations and had common solutions that people would choose to solve their problems. To sum it up, I enjoyed reading the book Secrets in the Shadows written by Anne Schraff. I enjoyed reading this book because I like the author, the book included adventure, and the book was realistic. This book dealt with real life situations and made the reader want to read more.

I was hugely upset with the end of this book. It surprised me, from Picoult's traditional point of view and morals supported in previous books. I was captured by it, but very sad with the end.
