I've recieved this as goodreads giveaway. Cyn´s husband died 2 years ago and left her with her son alone. Her mother came to live with Cyn and her son after her husband died. Worth Lansing, the best friend and business partner of Cyn´s husband, is the only person Cyn knew she could always count. One day Worth offers her an extra ticket to Acapulco. At first she is not enthusiastic about this idea. But finally she decided to accept his offer. But suddenly in the romantic hotel in tropical stars, everything is different. Her feelings for Worth are changing... This is one of Brown's earlier books. Love her books. :)

am i allowed to say ' Total bollocks ' ? Not sure so maybe i won't. This absolute drivel astounded me in the way that he attempted to put across this utterly nonsensical rhubarb as carefully worked out scholarship. It would have been a fun read if it had been some sort of imaginary thriller but in so far as it purported to be true it was annoying. His ability to repeat a few of his own theories a number of times in a chapter appeared to him to give the idea some sort of credence or position as fact. It was a fascinating study in someone's ability to argue himself into breathless certainty. An atheist friend gave me five of these books, each ' investigating ' an important aspect of faith. Two down, one of which ' Act of God ' I quite enjoyed, three to go. Thanks Steve, thank you so very much

Very interesting view on the economic and inevitable power shift to China. I thought it was a good read because it's one of those books that really make you think! Check it out!

I read this book as an adult. It was a fun story, but wasn't a favorite for me. I think I would have felt differently about it though if I had read it when I was young.

In the end I liked this book, but I had a lot of trouble getting going with it. I was a little surprised at the publication date, from the style and content I would have assumed it was published in the 90s, not the 70s.
Intriguing! I really want to read his Robot series books now.

I couldnt put this book down, it was utterly addicting. I've found that Michael Crichton never develops his characters enough to suit my personal tastes and you can see a bit of it in Timeline but not as much, I grew attached to the characters and I was depressed when it ended. Crichton's earlier works are amazing.
I really, really, really like this play. I should not be allowed to reproduce.
