This is my 2nd favorite of the books, it is incredibly well paced, a quick read and a great beginning to the Foundation series. Others have said that this series is not as good as the Robot series, but I happen to like it better, because it deals more with sociology and humans than technology & humans... this book in particular draws you in because of its easy parallels to human societies through the ages.

Good book about a family in Cambodia moving to a refugee camp after their father is killed. As we read, we witness how the children were forced to grow up too quickly when their happy world is turned upside down during the fighting. We witness her gain inner strength she never knew she had as she helps her family through their struggle to return home.

skimming aja sih.. lumayan lah bukunya buat belajar ramal-ramalan dng cara sederhana.. just for fun gitu deh, hasil ramalannya jangan dianggap serius :D paling suka yang menggunakan pendulum, praktis dan gampang, tapi cuma bisa untuk pertanyaan ya dan tidak sih :) So.. ada yang pengen diramal? :D

funny.......... but sometimes has sexually explicit material.............where you may or may not laugh. :)
A cute nonfiction book about an unusual friendship, similar to Tara and Bella. The photographs show a beautiful dog, but the pictures seem posed rather than candid. Overall, a good nonfiction book to introduce to kindergarten or first grade. Text is somewhat simplified for second grade and up.

I was having a dry season when I decided to pick this book up...I just expected it to be another tryhard modern fantasy. Man, was I wrong. I loved this book from start to finish. Clary is everything anyone can look for in a Fantasy heroine, and more. She's brave, fierce (and of course oblivous to her incredible beauty), but she's also so refreshingly real. Jace is also very believable - so much in fact, that I'm sure everyone can name at least three people who match his obnoxious ego, arrogant charm and intolerable temper. The pacing of the story was perfect - nothing was too rushed, and none of it seemed to depend on pure convenience. Clary's reactions, thoughts and emotions were very human, and I was happy to finally read a book which didn't remind me that it WAS all concocted inside someone's head, and that the characters had been shaped to fit with the storyline. For once, it seems the plot has been fitted around the character. Cassandra Clare has begun a new era of fantasy. She has, I believe, found the balance between urban legends and traditional fantasy, so the book is lacking in neither credability or magic. One of the most unique fantasies you'll ever read.

I remember reading this book in school and thinking that I've been there. Not getting expelled, getting my money stolen by a hooker/pimp, but feeling lost and wondering about what it all means at a very young age after the death of a sibling. I can see why kids are still forced to read it, and I can see why it makes some people uncomfortable, but I think it's a book that should be read in school.

I read this book in three days, which is some kind of record for me...at least lately. What a fascinating family! Walls knows how to tell a story, and while it is her life and therefore easier to do so in a way, she was able to put it all together in such an engaging way that really pulled me in and kept me completely focused and wanting to know what happens next. Very enjoyable, even though through most of the book I was very angry at her parents and left speechless at some of the events that occurred. She obviously has such a profound love and respect for her parents--and entire family--even when she grew up enough to also be angry at them and I can certainly appreciate that love and respect as well. Definitely recommended!

By far the most Risque book on my fav list, but I can't help loving it. It was a close call between this book and "Of Mice and Men" (Oh why couldn't the man just have his rabbit farm? It makes me want to cry.) "East of Eden" just sucked me in. I read this book all the way through in 2 sittings because I couldn't put it down.
