Su importancia radica en la naturalidad del la historia y la metafora que imprime , es totalmente extrapolable a la realidad actual. Los hombres grises existen sin duda, nos absorben nuestro tiempo y nadie es consciente de esto solo los niños que todavia utilizan su imaginacion, son capaces de verlo. Cuanta gente hay metida hasta el cuello en la prision de la hipoteca, de repetir una jornada laboral que no le aporta, que no le hace feliz, que le conduce a un objetivo irreal, ¿cuanto tiempo y preocupacion dedicada a esta supuesta felicidad que o conduce a nada que hace que produzcamos como elemntos carentes de vida propia,alimentando al sistema dando todo nuestro tiempo nuestra vida de manera gratuita, sin detenernos ni siquiera un minuto. lo mejor de un libro es que te produzca la libertad suficiente para querer pensar.MOMO lo consigue

being a married working mom. i feel that the best "money advice" i can give to any one heading into a new marriage is to read this book. read it before you get married, and have kids. in a nutshell this book is basically an eye opener to always hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

I nicked this from my sister while we were lazing by the pool on holiday, I loved the film so I thought I'd give it a shot. I hated it. His style of writing is so simplistic and slow that it's infuriating and just plain difficult to read. Even as a summer holiday read it's a massive no. I hate leaving a book unfinished so I was utterly relieved when it ended.

This book made me realize a whole lot I didn't know about the Taliban and life in Iraq and Afghanistan. I don't usually like books like this, as the ending isn't very happy, but I couldn't put it down. It was good to learn about a different culture. We used this book as a book study at UAB in our School of Education last fall.

I read this book after seeing the movie and as much as I love the movie, I love the book even more. The book has a few more major characters and plot developments that are note even touched in the movie. I have read many books by Maeve Binchy and Circle of Friends seems like her best developed story. The rest start to seem a little too much like romance novels for my taste (not that romance novels aren't good when you want one!) This story follows Benny Hogan and her friend Eve as they head to University in Dublin from their small village, Knockglen around 1950. Once at university, they discover a world of new friends, mainly a lot of cute Rugby playing lads and it becomes harder and harder for them to relate to what is happening in the village at home as they find their first loves. Wow, what a lot of cheese I just wrote!
