Es muy sencillo, aunque a veces las explicaciones matemáticas son confusas para el ojo no entrenado. Además parece que estuviese cortado a la mitad, y las anotaciones muchas veces son innecesarias. Merece un "Bueh..."

i was very much taken in by this book until its penultimate chapter, which seemed downright maudlin, & not really in a good way. i'd love to reread it at some point (possibly for my would-be book club?) for galloway's luscious writing & her layered, lovely storytelling.

I have yet to see the movie for this book. The prose is a bit tedious and dense to read (especially since I brought it to Cancun as a "beach read"!), but other than that, it is a beautifully wrought and unconventional story. The English Patient does not have a tragic ending per se, but it brought me to tears for some reason.

A very good collection of poetry from the last 30 years, all selected from winners of the Pushcart Prize. Some excellent poetry, much very good, and some that left me cold. The best poet in the volume whom I was not already familiar with has to be Li-Young Lee, whose poem "Furious Versions" stunned me.
