Tryck Santigo is a wolf shifter and loves riding his motorcycle. Carter is a wood elf and Tryck’s mate. Tryck and Carter are complete opposites; can they find a common ground and learn to love each other before it is too late? Carter’s Tryck by Lynn Hagen is the seventeenth book in the Brac Pack series. In this book we are dealing with some wolfs who have come into Maverick’s pack, the Santigo brothers. They’re fun; they’re alphas and are just a bit of a loner. Seeing Tryck get his story was really nice. This series does build on itself so you really should read it in order, as the author recommends. I found this story fun had a few twists I didn’t see coming. I love alpha werewolves and Tryck is one, in spades. I also liked the introduction into the elves of this series, with Carter, who is gentler, but still very male and strong in his own way. I like how he balanced Tryck. He softens the alpha in Tryck, which is good to see. Carter and Tryck have a connection which translates across the pages and made me feel connected to them. I also felt connected to the Santigo brothers. They are rough around the edges but totally loveable. I personally love Lynn Hagen’s Brac Pack series and really want to see more of it. She blends the men so well that when you meet them again it is like catching up with an old friend, which I like a lot. You do get to re-meet characters we’ve already met and fallen in love with in previous books and seeing where they are now is fun and an adventure in itself.

ok, so this woman is pretty ridiculous (in a slightly pathetic kind of way, in my personal opinion) about having these glorious epiphanies and seeing The Light and weeping for joy because of the cascades of warm radiance flowing through her every three pages, BUT the book is a seriously fascinating window into the Mormon church. her relationship with the church is crazy and sad and intense and bizarre and i learned so so much about mormons and mormon culture and the whole weird cult of secrecy and truth from the book. if you can get past her "finding herself spiritually" tangents, it's pretty darned cool.

I finally finished this book, it was good for me but not necessarily good. I would like to know more about classical Indian music.

This book blew my mind. I could not stop reading it and I felt so in tune with the main character that it scared me. A MUST READ for anyone interested in history or with a love for a western tale. Set in the Arizona Territories between 1881 and 1901, and chock full of real details from the time period, if it didn't say fiction on the spine, I wouldn't have known any better. Sigh. I may read it again, very soon.

Definitely thought provoking. I read this title for a book group. Not sure I would have otherwise, but I'm glad I did. Will have to re-read.

Another great book. I have been on a YA kick later and this one did not disappoint me. Mara is great and so is V. To see both of them grow and take lessons from each other made this book very enjoyable.

This was slightly disappointing, only because I thought the beginning was so intriguing but it got less so as the book went on. I never felt like I fully grasped Hanna's relationship with the main character, why he was different (or had there been others?), what drew her to him and what sustained her. On his part, their early sexual encounters understandably followed him throughout his life, but I didn't find he even had much affection for her. And I would've liked to read more about generally what it was like in post-Nazi Germany for young people who were just discovering the horrors that had been perpetrated, more historical context.

İlginç bir kavram. Benim fincan çay değil, ama benim gibi kütüphanede çocuklar ve gençler bir sürü. Bir bilgisayarın gelecekte çocuklar için bebek bakıcısı olduğunu kolayca görebiliyordum.
