I bought this right after it came out, and was massively disappointed. I can't even put my finger on exactly why I was disappointed, but it just wasn't what I expected...at all. There were one or two entries that I really enjoyed, but other than that- a total waste of time.

Another great book in this wonderful series. It is the perfect balance of romance and family drama with a good dose of the tight knit community thrown in!

Another good book by Charles Martin who skillfully penned a character study and Christian morals without being annoyingly "preachy." The theme of this book reminds us that Father-Child relationships are not only important, but essential, that we all want to belong to someone and something "bigger," and that no one is an "island." The "lost are found" in this solid story with a satisfying conclusion.

This book was very interesting. I learned more about Leonardo and how he did so many things prior to the 'Greats' who came after him hundreds of years later. He was a man way before his time. I would recommend this book. It flows well. One does not need to be a scientist or artist to appreciate this book.

it was ridiculous. there were moments i couldn't imagine what people beside me on the streetcar would think if they happened to read over my shoulder.

It's not poetry, and Seabrook has an awkward tendency to hammer home some particular points, chapter after chapter, as if he hasn't already made them yet, but it's got page upon page of gee-whiz minutia about the some of the best recordings of Bowie's career (those Iggy Pop albums included). Makes me wanna go put on "Heroes right now.
