It is a technical book. Useful only if you are doing in depth study of kinetic theory of gases. However if you need to understand kinetic theory it may be the best book. It explains the concepts without too much of mathematical formulas.

I enjoyed this book enormously, there are interesting characters, but the focus is on real authentic classical Chinese food with lots of philosophy behind the cooking of food. It makes your mouth water, and one wishes one could have an authentic experience in this marvelous culinary experience. Alas, most of the so-called Chinese restaurants in America are a poor imitation of the real art of Chinese cooking. I'd recommend this book highly.
