Memorable, remarkable, but ultimately unworth the effort.

Lots of good history
I am just falling in love with the characters in this series. I can't wait to see what happens next.
** spoiler alert ** Lothaire the Enemy of Old has found his mate hidden in the body of the human, Elizabeth. But is this soul sharing Elizabeth's body truly his mate, or is it Elizabeth herself? I thought this was a great book, and definitely one of my favorites in the series. It was well sad, happy, and sexy. Lothaire's back story made me cry, losing his mother like that. Witnessing her death explained a lot of why he was so evil, and explained a certain disdain for humans. It gave him more depth as a character, and made him likeable. He was strong, caring, and very intelligent. I liked the little add in that he was obsessed with puzzles. Everything you read him made him more human, which worked perfectly for his HEA Elizabeth. Elizabeth was an amazing character. She was strong, independent, and smart. She took charge of her life at all times, even when she really didn't have a say in it. I also like how she didn't let where she was from or what people thought of her hold her back in anyway, and she was so caring of everyone. I was really happy that she brought Thad back into the picture, he was one of my favorite characters from the previous book, and I liked Hag's character as well. I was also glad to see some of the Dorada story wrapped up, and to see her set up as future plot for the accession. All in all another wonderful installment by Kresley Cole. If you are a fan of romance with adventure, magic, sexy vampires this book is for you. And one more thing. Kresely Cole I say this to you, get the next book out cause the cliffhanger at the end is killing me!

I am a huge fan of Andy Warhol, but unfortunately this book was not as great as I thought it would be. It WAS interesting to get a look into the eceentric mind of an incredible artist and read about his complete philosophy on life, but at certain points in the narrative his rambling made me want to get the book over with. A good read, but you have to be up for it.

Here is an overlooked gem of a play, which won Glaspell the Pulitzer for drama in 1930. In fact, Glaspell was the first woman to win a Pulitzer. A family gathers to spend the last night in the home once belonging to Aunt Agatha, and Aunt Alison, who became a famous poet after her death. The Alison character is a sort of surrogate for Emily Dickinson. The family wrestles over each member's memory of Alison and her legacy of manuscripts bound in paper and thread. In a moving conclusion, long-buried secrets come to light. Glaspell's gift is dialogue and pace, and they are beautifully displayed here. How sad that this playwright is forgotten these days!

Helt okej bok. Men den fastnar inte riktigt. Lämnar inga spår efter sig, men gick fort att läsa och driver hela tiden läsaren framåt i rask takt.
Not actually about sex, this semi-biographical book tells the hilarious story of Michon's divorce struggle and search for love. Some of her situations are painfully funny and all of the lists and tips are hysterical. I highly recommend this book if you're struggling with relationships or just want a laugh.

This was a word-of-mouth book, a definite case of serendipity. A lovely story about making your family where you find it.
