A useful, concise guide to Audubon's work. It sketches his development as an artist, discusses the difference between the different editions and folios, and explains how Audubon's work was instrumental in developing the genre of natural history art.

I bought this book because the model on the cover looks a bit like Alec Baldwin, lol. I was also hoping that perhaps it had something to do with werewolves, but it's about faeries, and Donal has a telepathic link with the animals. It was a predictible story, but entertaining to read, and short chapters make it perfect for break times at work.
I've a couple of board-book-aged boys next door and so when those sorts of books come my way I do take a quick look to see if they'd be up their alley. This one, I discovered, is completely and utterly adorable. I have to admit that I associate Yiddish with older folk, but this book made me see that it is absolutely perfect for little ones too.

** spoiler alert ** What really kept me going in this series was the fact that my copy of the first book contained the first chapter of the second book, and once I read it, it left me on a cliffhanger, and I had to go get New Moon the next day. The first chapter ends with something to the effect of "I looked up into the eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires..." New Moon keeps you captivated, though, when Edward decides to leave Bella because he thinks that's what's best for her, and then also when she discovers Jacob is a werewolf. Overall I think this is my second favorite of the series.

This book had so much good information pertaining to Men and what we(as women) should expect and will demand. HOLLA! Plus it talks about orgasms, so you can't go wrong there. hahaha

Child 44 was great reading, Secret speech was good too, so I looked forward to read this piece. And I wasn't disapointed at all. Just as good as Child 44. It has some glitches, but I liked the way story is set to real historical events and habits. Finally I liked the language it was writen, because I am not english speeking and even with my limited english It was easy to read and understand.

This was 4 stars worthy until House bailed out and went with the "20 years later" final chapter. So cool reading about a young boy named Eli coming of age in Kentucky, though.
it was really rambling and plotless, which is fine, but there wasn't enough to hold on to i think
