Perfect ending to a great series.

I liked this one less than The Da Vinci Code. It was much more over-the-top and preachy. I love Rome, and so I loved all the references to Rome, but I could have done without all of the overblown drama.

I like how the protagonist is a kinesics specialist instead of the over-exposed forensics. I have always been interested in reading body languange and verbal cues for the true feelings of a person.

I really like this book as well as the author. She keeps you on the edge of your seat in any book she writes. And just when you think you have figured out who done it. You realize you were very wrong. Have read almost all of her books and enjoyed every one of them.

This is Dick at his best. He had a mean speed habit so a lot of his work can be confusing and feel rushed, but he took his time with this one. It's about a bounty hunter in the future who hunts androids. If you like Sci-Fi even a little bit then you should read this.

OK, this is an ambitious project. But I love Shelby Foote (remember the cool bearded guy with the southern drawl from the Ken Burns' Civil War docs?) and I find Civil War history and literature fascinating. Now I just need to find to read 2000+ pages...

So much potential and so uninteresting anyway. I'd give it 3 stars but there were between 2 and 4 typos (I skimmed over the first two because I am kind and forgiving, but when I noticed the next 2 I was cranky and remembered page 212 and 290 to prove it to others)so it's getting rounded down to 2. Only recommend to people who really like hospitality/vacation industry books. Not nearly as raucous or humorous as the blurbs and subtitle imply.

I liked this, but the plot is trying a bit too hard to throw in too many issues, but it does include arresting moments of insight into the characters. It has a bit of the Don DeLillos, in that the characters are all universally self-aware and articulate about indefinable issues. I loved the corrections, and liked this, but it lacks humour.

Teaches the value of inquiry, teamwork, and seeing beyond what is in front of your eyes.

I finally read a whole book! And I read this in two days (lots of sneaking around necessary to accomplish that). I loved the story, loved the characters, loved what the author detailed and what she left for the reader to wonder about. Psychologically interesting. Also dig the cover photo & the fit of the title.
