Buena prosa política, con claras exposiciones y juicios críticos.

Another epic! Greek war, Detroit upbringing, and a run in with Dr. Money (of As Nature Made Him). Couldn't put it down. Loved the style. Noticeably Brown (he went there).

I loved this book. I read it front to back one day on top of my roof in the summer of 2006. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommended.

I really liked some of the messages of this book. I think that it is great to teach young girls to accept themselves how they are, and to be in control of their own lives. I was annoyed though about the protrayal of teen sex. Buying lingerie for your teen girlfriend? That is not a message I would want to share with my teenage daughter.
This was good book. I know, simple sentence, but it's true. It was an enjoyable story, with a very engaging plot. I didn't learn anything by reading it other than a reaffirmation that Neil Gaiman is a wonderful storyteller than can keep me entertained for hours.

This was an incredible biography! To be fully honest, what intrigued me was the fact that he was from Independence. As a current resident, it was awesome to read about events that transpired not five miles from my home, at Independence Square. To know that he is the reason behind the courthouse, most of Jackson County's roads, and then became the President of the United States was really cool to read about. McCullough is just a fantastic writer; I stumbled upon him in high school, for his work on John Adams. As a senior, who was not too impressed with 'history' and 'social studies', he was a gem. Written in a manner that did not short its reader on nuance or insight, but without unnecessary, verbose language was refreshing. The intense research, the amazing detail, and thorough understanding of who Harry Truman was absolutely deserved the Pulitzer. Well done!

This is story of an adolesant boy who finds himself in a lifeboat with a 450 pound bangel tiger. It is an interesting look at survival.
It took a while to get through this one, mostly because I wasn't digging the 'story within the story within the story' part that was sci-fi. There were some good twists and turns, but wasn't my favourite of Atwood's books
Incredible book, that made me think about my own spirituality. A great discussion starting book that makes you ask questions about yourself that only God can answer for you. A read again, and again.
