This is written all in letters back and forth between characters, which lent itself well to an audiobook as there were different readers. It was light and enjoyable despite some sad subjects.

Meno is incredibly dead on with the typical teen's life and how we think and all the uncertainties that can plague us. He just plain gets it and it's pretty evident in his work. I learned a ton about music and even though I'm not completely sure about some of it, I'm going to give it a try! ^_^

I would have given this only 3 stars, but bookclub made me think a little bit differently about it. I still believe I would have liked this book more if it was narrated by different characters throughout.

Well I am on page 120 and I feel like Cat and Bones were on a vaca and I just picked up ==== I thought they would be, Nice to see she has invited some old characters into the story. I love how it always seems like everyone who is a Vamp is realted somehow. It is like living in a very small town lol:) reading it slow I jusst love them I just love this book and I really feel that Jeanine let the character of Cat evolve. The relationship of Bones and Cat seem stronger and the endless characters that they encountered in the past seem to become of their extended family I love that. The familiar with the new. This book was great as I hoped it would be. I love how frost creates this endless dynamic btwn the characters that create this very deep connection that goes beyond lust. I enjoyed the story aswell and loved all the surprises along the way. I don't want to give anything away to anyone but I will tell you it is a great fide and great story. Happy reading.

This book is an excellant introduction to Montessori. It gives clear explanations as well as concrete activities that you can do with your child. I'm sure I'll be referring to it often.

A fantastic book with totally believable characters. It's hard to imagine that it's set only 40/50 years ago - that the way the coloured 'helps' and their families were treated was accepted as normal.

3.75 stars really. I had been recommended this book numerous times, and finally got around to reading it! It was an enjoyable read. Set during the Depression, this book takes a look into the world of the circus. I learned a lot, not only about the circus, but 1930's America. About halfway through I was a little bored, wondering if I should finish it out or not. But I did, and it definitely picked up at the end. And the very end (which we actually see at the beginning) was a great twist and such a surprise. I was really pleased by that.
